The LaCama provides a spacious interior for a single person shelter, measuring 48" x 96" with an inside height of 50”. LaCama uses specially made carbon fiber poles from Easton Technical Products. The poles fit into "sleeves" at the corners of the tent held in place by specially designed clips to eliminate pole twisting making it extremely stable in windy conditions (up to 80mph). The LaCama packs away in a molded frame backpack in two sizes - the overnight backpack and the larger capacity overland pack back. The LaCama is all about durability, convenience, and comfort. The LaCama Camping System frame is extremely lightweight, virtually indestructible, due to strength to weight ratio equal to the F15 fighter jet. The frame is shock corded for foolproof assembly and available in four colors: ocean blue, forest green, desert sand and burnt red.

The LaCama cabin is an extremely lightweight freestanding shelter. The floor material is 70D Taffeta Nylon, 1800MM waterproof sealed; the body material is 40D Nylon Rip Stop with easy access front door and windows on the other three sides; doors and windows have inner netting layer and two-sided waterproof sealed zipper. The LaCama cabin utilizes 2 Easton FX Carbon poles. A silicone-coated rain fly with easy attach clips covering the cabin to ground level is also available.

The basic sleep platform utilizes Tough Tek Ballistics Vinyl Coated Polyester/Water Resistant Nylon. Each sleep platform has a convenient storage shelf underneath for storage of clothes, shoes etc. The sleep platform is also height adjustable up or down to 6" at each connecting point eliminating terrain slope for a level sleep experience; the "sleep surface curve" is fully adjustable also creating a nearly flat sleep surface or a more traditional "hammock curve". Adjustments to either the height or "sleep surface curve" are easy and quick.

The LaCama beds (sleeping bag) are scalable multi-layered units - two, three, or four layers, depending upon the temperature rating needed - that zip directly to the basic sleep platform providing the ability to choose the correct temperature rating at any time of year. No need to try to make the same sleeping bag fit all weather conditions. Each bed also accepts an outer coat of water resistant rip stop nylon if desired. The Extreme condition bed incorporates a down fill pocket between the fleece and nylon layers providing a protected sleep environment to minus 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
